(ĐN)- The construction of the Long Khanh industrial zone was started by Long Khanh Industrial Zone Infrastructure Development Company in Suoi Tre commune, Long Khanh town, Dong Nai province on August 7.
The industrial zone, capitalised at over 650 billion VND, covers a total area of 265 hectares, of which the area for building plant occupies nearly 170 hectares. There will be a wastewater treatment plant for the whole Long Khanh industrial zone with a capacity of 6400 cubic meters per day .

As planned, the industrial zone will attract businesses in the fields of agricultural processing, mechanics, electronics, textile and garments; building materials production and others.
Work on the project is scheduled to be completed within three years and the first phase of the project is expected to be finished in 2010.
