Site clearance and resettlement for project linking HCMC and Nhon Trach

(ĐN)- A meeting to discuss site clearance and resettlement for the project to build a bridge and road linking Dong Nai’s new city of Nhon Trach with HCMC’s District 9 was held on June 24 with the participation of the province’s leaders and the project’s investor, BOT Phu My Bridge J.S Company. It is estimated that nearly 152 households in hamlets in Nhon Trach district will have to move for the construction of the project and the cost for site clearance and compensation will be about VND300 bil, according to the investor.

The construction of the project will be started by the end of this year. The bridge and road will connect Ha Noi Highway (in District 9, HCM city) on one end and 25B Street (in Nhon Trach district, Dong Nai province) on the other. Building houses for resettlement purposes are being planned in the district.
