(ĐN)- Long Khanh town’s Red Cross Chapter has just held a ceremony to hand over five charity houses to poor and ethnic minority households, policy families facing housing difficulties in Bao Vinh and Bao Quang communes, Long Khanh town.
Each house is built on an area of around 24-32 sq.m with a cost of VND25 million, funded by the provincial Red Cross Association.
On this occasion, the association presented gifts, including blanket, clock and electric fan, to the families.
The charity houses are built to help poor households in the locality stabilize their accommodation so as to develop economy and escape poverty.
