(ĐN)- In the first half of this year alone, the HCM City Capital Aid Fund for Employment of the Poor (CEP)’s branches in Bien Hoa city and Long Thanh district, Dong Nai province provided loans of about VND33.5 million to nearly 6,0000 clients.
(ĐN)- In the first half of this year alone, the HCM City Capital Aid Fund for Employment of the Poor (CEP)’s branches in Bien Hoa city and Long Thanh district, Dong Nai province provided loans of about VND33.5 million to nearly 6,0000 clients. Founded in 1991, the CEP is an NGO which aims to help poverty alleviation through the provision of financial and other services. Since being put into operation in 2008, CEP branches in Dong Nai province has handed out more than VND 65 billion in loans to local clients. In addition, CEP has given support to charity activities like granting scholarships for poor students and building houses for the poor in Long Thanh district and Bien Hoa city.
