Vice President visits Dong Nai province

(ĐN)- State Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan paid a working visit to Dong Nai province on March 12.

(ĐN)- State Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan paid a working visit to Dong Nai province on March 12. After hearing the report from the provincial leaders concerning the socio-economic development of the province in 2008, the State Vice President said she is happy to witness the significant achievements that the Provincial Party Committee and the people of Dong Nai recorded over the last year. She said that all these achievements are the results of the united and concerted efforts of the people resided in the province  under the leadership of the provincial party committee and the result of initiatives and actions of the provincial government. She also praised the Provincial Government who made great efforts in improving the living standards of local people. She expressed her strong belief that the province would successfully fulfill targeted socio-economic tasks.

Earlier, the State Vice President visited Thien Tan commune, Vinh Cuu district and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic mothers living in the commune and local associations.

On this occasion, she donated VND 50 million to the Provincial Red Cross Association to help 10 families in extremely difficult circumstances in the province.

During the stay in Dong Nai, the State Vice President also visited the Provincial Centre for orphans and disabled children and Dong Tien Garment Company.
