According to a report from the provincial heath sector, many serious diseases like hand-foot-mouth disease, chickenpox, dengue fever …have been on the rise across the province during the past time. However, with efforts of the provincial health sector, the diseases were brought under control and the sector took necessary measures to control the spread of the diseases.
The Heath Deputy Minister also pointed out the need for the provincial health sector to pay special attention to monitoring infectious diseases. He also said that effective monitoring of infectious diseases is an essential part of preventing and fighting epidemics.
