Taiwanese businesses eager to invest in Dong Nai’s service sector

(ĐN)- Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai has recently met with Mr. Lai Jian Zhong, Chairman of the Council of Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam. At the meeting, Mr. Lai Jian Zhong asked for the support from the provincial government to create favorable conditions for Taiwanese businesses to invest in vocational training, construction sector and service sector such as restaurants and hotels. He said that a Taiwanese business has submitted application for investment license to the licensing authorities to make investment for the construction of a complex in Bien Hoa city that would include a five-star hotel, an office building and a trade center with a total investment of US$50 million. He also said the project is expected to be completed within two years and a half from the date of starting construction. The Taiwanese Chairman promised that Taiwan would present 5 fire trucks for 5 southern provinces and cities of Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Long An and Ho Chi Minh in the coming time.
