A greater effort needed to develop education

(ĐN)- Dong Nai Department of Education and Training reported its education development plans in the period of 2009-2010 to Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and related agencies at a meeting on March 2.

According to the report, during the past years, Dong Nai has made many efforts to enhance education quality and system, contribute to education renovation in the province. Accordingly, the province focused on improving school facilities and helping teachers raise the quality of education. the report also pointed out weaknesses in educational development over the past time and made recommendations aimed at expanding and improving the quality of education and training in line with social requirements.

In the period of 2009-2010, the department will continue to develop teaching staff, renovate education methods and innovate education management, etc.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary Tran Dinh Thanh said that the Department of Education and Training should make a greater effort to promote the socialization of education and training activities in the coming time.
