Youth Month launched in Long Khanh townlet

(ĐN)- Around 2,000 Youth Union members across Dong Nai province recently participated in the launching ceremony of Youth Month 2009. Also present at the launching ceremony were Bui Ngoc Thanh, Head of the Mass Mobilization Department of the Provincial Party Committee and Huynh Thi Nga, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee.

In response to the campaign “the Youth Month”, the Provincial Youth Union is set to create at least 1000 new jobs for local young people, to admit 7800 new members and to mobilize donations among the local youth union members for building 20 charity houses as well as to provide free check-ups and medicines for 1000 people in the remote areas of Dong Nai province….

After the ceremony concluded, the Provincial Youth Union launched a humanitarian blood donation campaign among the local youth union members and collected 130 units of blood. In addition, the Union also provided free consultations on career guidance and credit counseling for more than 600 young people.
