Xuan Loc district’s Social Policy Bank to provide loans worth VND21 billion to poor students in 2009

(ĐN)- Xuan Loc district’s Social Policy Bank announced that the bank would continue to offer loans for the poor with a total capital of around VND 28 billion in 2009 with the interest rate unchanged compared with last year.

(ĐN)- Xuan Loc district’s Social Policy Bank announced that the bank would continue to offer loans for the poor with a total capital of around VND 28 billion in 2009 with the interest rate unchanged compared with last year. In details, the bank will provided loans worth VND6.2 billion for poor households,  VND 600 million for clean water projects and VND21 billion for poor students with a view to helping them cover their school fees and living costs.

As of March 5, 2009, there were around 1,000 student borrowers who have accessed loans worth  close to VND 4 billion from the bank.
