(ĐN)- At the meeting held on March 6, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Tran Dinh Thanh said he was unhappy when some local agencies did not take active part in the implementation of the Government’s policy of consumption stimulation.
Mr. Tran Dinh Thanh urged local agencies to take initiatives in helping small and medium enterprises (SMEs) overcome the difficulties and stabilize production in order to fulfill socio-economic tasks set for 2009. He also emphasized that helping SMEs should be considered as a key task for the province in 2009.
Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Mot pointed out the need for local agencies and departments to promote the assistance to SMEs in the province through organizing different investment and trade promotion activities. The Chairman also said that the province plans to set up a business support action group within this month.
