Exchange meeting between journalists of Dong Nai, Binh Thuan and Ba Ria- Vung Tau Newspapers

(ĐN)- An exchange meeting between journalists from the newspapers based in Dong Nai, Binh Thuan and Ba Ria- Vung Tau was recently held at Dong Nai Newspaper’s office. More than 50 members from the newspapers attended the exchange meeting which provided journalists of the newspapers an opportunity to exchange information, journalism skills and develop ties between them.

(ĐN)- An exchange meeting between journalists from the newspapers based in Dong Nai, Binh Thuan and Ba Ria- Vung Tau was recently held at Dong Nai Newspaper’s office. More than 50 members from the newspapers attended the exchange meeting which provided journalists of the newspapers an opportunity to exchange information, journalism skills and develop ties between them.

Tran Thi Thai Hoa, Editor-in-chief of Binh Thuan Newspaper said her newspaper hopes to learn experience from Dong Nai and Ba Ria- Vung Tau Newspapers in disseminating information about the achievements of their provinces in such areas as industry and foreign direct attraction, especially experience in mobilizing resources for charity activities. Hoa also said that her newspaper admired the charity work done by Dong Nai Newspaper that has organized charity activities worth about VND 600 million per year.

Pham Quoc Toan, Vice Chairman of the Viet Nam Journalists’ Association and Editor-in-chief of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Newspaper said that it is necessary to organize more regular meetings between journalists from the newspapers in the Southeast region in order to exchange journalism skills because the development of each newspaper is not separate from the development of the region and the country as a whole.

Besides the meeting, journalists were taken to visit the Giang Dien Waterfall Ecological Tourism Site in Trang Bom district and they also enjoyed meeting with colleagues from Ho Chi Minh city and a camp at a farm in Vinh Tan commune, Vinh Cuu district.
