Dong Nai holds meeting to mark founding of Party anniversary

(ĐN)- A grand meeting was held in Dong Nai on Feb. 3 to mark the 77th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (3/2/1930-3/2/2007). Leaders of the Party Committee, the People’s Council, the People’s Committee and the Fatherland Front of Dong Nai province attended the meeting.

(ĐN)- A grand meeting was held in Dong Nai on Feb. 3 to mark the 77th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (3/2/1930-3/2/2007). Leaders of the Party Committee, the People’s Council, the People’s Committee and the Fatherland Front of Dong Nai province attended the meeting.

Tran Dinh Thanh, Member of PCC, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People’s Council of Dong Nai province reviewed the glorious tradition of the party over the past period, affirming that the sound leadership of the CPV was a decisive factor for the success of Viet Nam’s revolution. In his speech delivered at the meeting, Secretary Tran Dinh Thanh also highlighted the provinces socio-economic achievements over the past year. He said that Dong Nai has recorded a high economic growth rate and the province also saw high growth in industrial and agricultural production, export revenues and foreign investment attraction during the last year. He added that the next year will open up new opportunities for Dong Nai and new challenges facing the province and Dong Nai strives for a GDP growth rate of 15 percent.

At the meeting, Secretary Tran Dinh Thanh launched a campaign entitled “Learn and Follow Ho Chi Minh’s Morality Example” and asked party committees at all levels to grasp thoroughly the ideology and ethics of President Ho Chi Minh among cadres and party members, and build an action plan to follow the example of President Ho Chi’s morals, driving back bad habits by educating revolutionaries. Thanh said that the campaign is also a widespread political course joining the Party and the entire social system.
