(ĐN)- Huynh Van Toi, member of provincial standing committee of the party and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee received a delegation of staff members from Ha Noi City-based National Politics Institute led by Vice Professor – Doctor Ngo Ngoc Thang on May 16. The delegation’s visit aimed at studying Dong Nai’s socio-economic development
after 20 renewal years.The delegation praised significant socio-economic development achievements, in particular, the achievement in FDI attraction after 20 renewal years recorded by Dong Nai. The delegation was happy to learn that Dong Nai has to date lifted the province’s 16 poorest communes out of poverty and strived to reduce the rate of poor households (according to new standard) down to 4% by 2010. Besides, the delegation also heard about difficulties and challenges facing Dong Nai province including environmental pollution, labor disputes and lack of professional labor etc.
