Big C supermarket invests nearly VND 10 billion into its cold meat processing plant

(ĐN)- On May 11, Big C supermarket in Dong Nai put into operation its new cold meat processing plant. The plant, with invested capital of nearly VND 10 billion, include phases such as meat grinding, meat mixing, steaming, cooking, and vacuum packaging that ensure food safety hygiene and quality. It can reach the capacity of 1 ton/day.  

The cold meat, is processed at the plant, will be provided to Big C supermarket chain in Vietnam. In the past years, the supermarket’s products such as pork bologna, pate, jambon, smoking meat have gained the trust of the consumer. According to the supermarket’s leaders, Big C does not use borax and food additives to assure that its products satisfy food safety and hygiene standards. In the next time, Big C will provide about 80-100 kinds of cold meat with suitable price to the consumers so that they can choose.
