The Ministry of Culture and Information allowed the Ho Chi Minh City Television broadcasting entertainment programme without news through foreign satellites. Accordingly, Vietnamese culture is going to be introduced to foreign viewers through the new channel. It includes theatre, music and entertainment programmes, programmes on the Vietnamese land and people, Vietnamese language teaching, and live broadcasts of festivities.
