(ĐN) - According to the data supplied by Long Khanh’s Peoples’ Committee, the economy of Long Khanh town in the first half of 2005 grew rapidly and its growth made up 50% of the target being proposed by the town party committee. Efforts made by Long Khanh’s Peoples’ Committee and the people contributed actively to the economic growth which was higher than the corresponding period the previous years. Especially, the GDP of the town rose by 12.5 %, of which, that of agriculture, industry and construction, commerce and service increased by 5.8%, 14.7% and 14.1%. Most of the economic sectors in Long Khanh are increasingly being developed and gained better results compared with the same period last year.
