Accordingly, the province created and implemented 572 lending projects with total loans of 74.299 billion VND. This helped more than 35,000 people get jobs. The 120/HĐBT project itself provided jobs for 30,467 people. In addition, 5,000 people also found jobs through the project’s services.
According to the plan towards the end of 2006, Steering Committee of the project will concentrate on creating jobs and providing employment for adult workforce, rural labors and so on. The project is targeted at pushing unemployment rate in urban areas down to 3%.
