According to the Dong Nai Statistics Office, retail sales of goods in Dong Nai were estimated at over VND78 trillion in the third quarter of 2026.
During the quarter, many supermarkets and shopping malls across the city rolled out major consumer stimulus programs to attract customers to visit and shop during the holiday. In particular, purchasing power at supermarkets and shopping malls during the National Day holiday increased by around 15-25% year on year.
In the first 9 months of 2026, the city’s retail sales of goods were estimated at more than VND225.4 trillion, up nearly 16.4% year on year. Most major retail product categories recorded higher sales than in the same period last year. Among them, sales of petroleum products rose by more than 29%, due to price fluctuations and higher demand from production and transport activities. Sales of household goods and equipment increased by nearly 15.6%, while sales of wood and construction materials rose by nearly 20.4%. Other categories, including cultural and educational products, garments, and food products, also recorded relatively strong growth in retail sales.
