Dong Nai will step up efforts to implement nine key groups of tasks and measures in the final months of 2026, aiming to achieve its annual socio-economic development targets to the greatest extent possible.

The city will focus on implementing the resolutions of the 14th National Party Congress and the first Dong Nai City Party Congress, with particular emphasis on Politburo Resolution No. 16-NQ/TW. It will also implement mechanisms and policies for the city's development once the Government issues the relevant decrees, while drafting resolutions and decisions to put these measures into effect.

The city aims to meet its 2026 gross regional domestic product (GRDP) growth target while fulfilling its socio-economic development indicators and carrying out a special 500-day-and-night emulation drive. It will also continue to resolve difficulties facing businesses, improve the investment and business environment, support production expansion, and promote exports, trade, services and tourism. Dong Nai aims to generate VND150 trillion in state budget revenue in 2026.

Another priority is to accelerate the development of the citywide master plan with a 100-year vision, finalize zoning plans for functional areas and key growth centers and advance urban development projects, industrial parks, centralized digital technology parks and strategic infrastructure projects. The city will also step up efforts to attract domestic and foreign investment and promote processing and manufacturing, supporting industries, logistics, the digital economy and other high-value-added sectors.

In natural resource and environmental management, the city will strengthen the management of land, natural resources and minerals; address obstacles related to land, compensation, assistance and resettlement; and ensure an adequate supply of construction materials for key projects. It will also improve the quality of education, healthcare and social welfare, take proactive measures to prevent and control disease, and step up regular health checkups.

The city will continue to safeguard national defense and security and maintain public order and safety. It will step up efforts to prevent and combat crime, strengthen fire prevention and firefighting, ensure traffic safety, and improve the effectiveness of foreign affairs. These efforts aim to create a stable, safe and favorable environment for socio-economic development.
