Construction Department inspects 17 social housing projects

Under an approved plan, the Dong Nai Department of Construction (DoC) will inspect construction progress at 17 social housing and worker housing projects across the city through October 2.

The inspections will focus on assessing actual conditions at the project sites, reviewing implementation progress and identifying difficulties and obstacles that have arisen, so that the findings can be compiled for reporting and recommendations on solutions. They will also serve to urge investors to accelerate project implementation.

The projects inspected are located in various wards and communes, including An Phuoc, Phuoc Tan, Long Hung, Tam Hiep, Nhon Trach, Dong Xoai and Binh Phuoc, as well as several other localities. These include social housing projects in Phu Hoi Urban Area and Bau Xeo Residential Area, a social housing apartment complex under the Dong Nai Waterfront Project, and other social housing projects within the 20% land fund.

The DoC has asked investors to coordinate with the inspection team, prepare all relevant information on project progress, and facilitate the team’s assessment of actual conditions at the project sites.

In July 2026, the DoC inspected 16 social housing and worker housing projects. The review of ongoing projects will help Dong Nai develop measures to boost the supply of social housing, contributing to the fulfillment of the Government-assigned target of more than 8,000 units in 2026 and the city’s social housing target through 2030.
