On the morning of April 11, Duong Minh Dung, Member of the Standing Committee of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilization, conducted an on-site inspection of Phase 1 of the Nhon Trach Inter-Port Road Construction Project to review and urge the implementation of compensation and site handover for the project.
The inspection underscores the province’s strong political commitment to ensuring the project stays on schedule, while reaffirming the leadership and supervisory role of Party authorities over key infrastructure projects.

According to Decision No. 313-QD/TU dated August 28, 2025, of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the project was included in the list of key projects, with the requirement to hand over the site within 30 days (from March 12 to April 11, 2026).
According to a report by the Project Management Board of Region 6, Phase 1 of the Nhon Trach Inter-Port Road Construction Project has so far made significant progress in compensation, support, and resettlement. Of the 551 dossiers, 547 have been approved, totaling more than 572.5 billion VND. Compensation payments totaling nearly 397.3 billion VND have been made to 334 households. All 551 cases have been reviewed for resettlement, with 113 found eligible and 104 plots allocated. Grave relocation has also recorded positive results, with 119 out of 133 graves relocated.
However, many difficulties and obstacles remain, including six cemetery land plots that do not yet have compensation unit prices; 83 cases involving architectural assets whose grades have yet to be determined; 28 cases involving additional crops that have not been approved; and 38 cases of handwritten sales documents that do not meet resettlement conditions. Some households have not agreed to hand over the site, and many were absent when compensation payments were made.
To overcome difficulties, Dai Phuoc Commune People's Committee has proposed many solutions such as: coordinating with Nhon Trach Land Fund Development Center to complete the appraisal and additional approval between April 13 and 16; completing the verification of land origin for 6 cemetery plots before April 16; establishing 3 mobilization teams to continue propagating and persuading people to hand over the site; proposing the Provincial People's Committee to consider a special mechanism for 38 difficult resettlement cases; promoting coercive measures according to regulations for cases that have received money but have not handed over the site.

The Nhon Trach Inter-Port Road Construction Project is of particular importance to connect Nhon Trach ports with the national transportation system, reduce the load on National Highway 51, create a vital transportation axis to serve regional economic development; promote the development of logistics services, enhance the province's competitiveness; create favorable conditions for industrial parks and services to develop, attract domestic and foreign investment; contribute to completing the infrastructure of the Southern Key Economic Region. Along with the Nhon Trach Inter-Port Road Construction Project, other projects such as Cat Lai Bridge, Ring Road 3, and Phu My Bridge in Dai Phuoc commune have a strategic "Eastern gateway" location, directly connecting to the country's largest economic center.
