Dong Nai mobilizes all resources for State budget collection

On the morning of April 14, the Steering Committee for State budget collection, anti-revenue loss, and tax debt recovery in Dong Nai province (abbreviated as the Steering Committee), chaired by Nguyen Van Ut, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and Head of the Steering Committee, held a meeting to hear reports on tasks and solutions for State budget collection, anti-revenue loss, and tax debt recovery in the province.

Also attending were Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Department of Finance, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee Truong Thi Huong Binh; Permanent Deputy Head of the Steering Committee, Head of the Provincial Tax Department Nguyen Toan Thang, along with other members of the Steering Committee who are leaders of provincial departments and agencies.

At the meeting, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and Head of the Steering Committee Nguyen Van Ut listened to feedback and reports on State budget collection, the situation of revenue exploitation, anti-revenue loss, and debt recovery in the province over the past period from provincial departments and agencies, and also proposed contributions regarding tax management, tax debt recovery, etc., to the Steering Committee.

Delivering his directive speech at the meeting, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and Head of the Steering Committee Nguyen Van Ut emphasized: State budget collection requires the involvement of all departments and agencies. Each department and agency has important functions and tasks, thus requiring consistency in the implementation process. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Steering Committee to identify immediate revenue sources and long-term, sustainable revenue sources.

In addition, according to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the task of the Steering Committee is not only to support revenue collection but also to achieve double-digit growth. In addition to urging collection and handling tax debts, there must also be corresponding policies, in line with the Government's direction, to consider issues and policies that need further support for businesses in the current difficult conditions.

The provincial departments and agencies implement their tasks based on their functions and duties according to the operating regulations of the Steering Committee. Identifying this as an important political task in State budget collection in 2026, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Steering Committee to create all the most favorable conditions to both ensure State budget collection and provide solutions to overcome difficulties for businesses, creating the most favorable environment to enhance investment attraction, especially foreign direct investment (FDI) into Dong Nai.

*Previously, to proactively, drastically, and effectively implement State budget collection management in 2026; and to meet and exceed the 2026 State budget collection estimate assigned by the Central Government, the Provincial Party Committee, and the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee issued a Decision to establish the Steering Committee for State budget collection, anti-revenue loss, and tax debt recovery in Dong Nai province. The Steering Committee is chaired by Nguyen Van Ut, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

The Deputy Heads of the Steering Committee include: Truong Thi Huong Binh, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Department of Finance and Nguyen Toan Thang, Head of the Dong Nai Provincial Tax Department. Leaders of some departments and agencies are members of the Steering Committee.
