Amid growing trade promotion activities, Dong Nai has in recent years stepped up efforts to promote Vietnamese goods under the campaign “Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods”.
These efforts have been actively implemented by provincial departments, sectors, and relevant units, contributing to stronger brand recognition while honoring OCOP products (One Commune One Product program), regional specialties, and key local products.

Supporting consumers’ trust in Vietnamese goods
According to Nguyen Van Linh, Deputy Director of the Dong Nai Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center, the campaign has been consistently integrated into the province’s trade promotion programs, ensuring both continuity and effectiveness.
In particular, the center will continue coordinating initiatives to bring Vietnamese goods to rural areas, industrial parks, and remote localities through trade fairs and direct distribution trips to factories and farms. As a result, consumers are able to access quality domestically produced goods at reasonable prices. At the same time, communication efforts are being intensified to reinforce consumer confidence in Vietnamese products.
In late March 2026, the center, in coordination with relevant units and local authorities, organized a Vietnamese goods fair in a rural border area of Thien Hung commune. The event featured 40 booths showcasing and selling Vietnamese products, alongside 20 booths operated by local farmers’ associations.
Nguyen Quoc Minh, Director of Co.opmart Dong Xoai supermarket in Binh Phuoc ward, said the supermarket has actively participated in activities responding to the campaign, while expanding the distribution of Vietnamese goods to rural and remote areas.
Notably, in January 2026, the supermarket organized two rounds of mobile sales, bringing essential goods to local residents during the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026 (Tet). It also took part in the 2026 Trade Union Tet Market program jointly organized by the Vietnam Rubber Trade Union and the Vietnam Rubber Group in Binh Phuoc ward
Promoting trade connectivity
Nguyen Van Linh further noted that supply-demand connection programs, trade networking conferences, and fairs and exhibitions will be organized on a regular basis to support enterprises in promoting products, seeking partners, and expanding formal distribution channels. In addition, the center will step up communication efforts to promote typical products, OCOP items, and the province’s signature goods, thereby enhancing consumer awareness of the quality and value of Vietnamese products.
From April 8 to 11, Dong Nai organized a provincial pavilion at the 35th Vietnam International Trade Fair (Vietnam Expo 2026), bringing together 20 enterprises to showcase products and engage in trade networking.
The exhibition focused on key product groups, specialties, and OCOP items, within a business-to-business (B2B) platform featuring around 500 booths and more than 420 enterprises from 20 countries and territories.
Participation in large-scale fairs and national trade promotion programs is expected to create broader opportunities for Dong Nai’s key products to fully tap their competitive advantages, while expanding both domestic and export markets.
In 2026, Dong Nai will continue actively engaging in linkage programs led by central authorities, particularly those connecting local enterprises with distributors and importers at home and abroad.
At the same time, the province aims to strengthen its role as a focal point in organizing major trade promotion activities across both domestic and international markets. Efforts will also focus on developing key commodity chains, including cashew, pepper, coffee, rubber, fruits, bird’s nest products, and handicrafts.
In parallel, direct support will be provided to enterprises, cooperatives, and business households to maintain traditional markets, explore new ones, and expand distribution through supermarket and retail systems.
Truong Van Thanh, Director of Nhu Hoang Agricultural Trade and Service Cooperative in Tho Son commune, expressed his expectation that the cooperative would have greater access to both intra-provincial and inter-provincial trade connection programs, particularly national-level initiatives.
Such opportunities, he noted, would help local producers connect with major distributors, strengthen brand positioning, and enhance the competitiveness of OCOP products.
