The project has created the linkage of authorities, scientists, farmers, and businesses that helps farmers to change their habit in coffee production to good production practices, using less fertilizer in growing coffee.
Accordingly, Tin Nghia Corporation has cooperated with 2,766 farmers to grow coffee under 4C standard in the 5,495 ha high-quality material area in the provinces of Dak Lak, Gia Lai, etc.
The volume of clean coffee consuming in Vietnam is estimated at over 26,000 tons per year. The prices of the coffee beans are VND400,000-600,000 per ton higher than those without certificate for 4C clean coffee.
Presently, Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee assigns the corporation to build the plan helping local farmers to apply the clean coffee production model.
