(ĐN)- According to Dong Nai Department of Industry and Trade, the price of black pepper now is approximately US$7,600 per tonne, 6% higher than that of the same period last year.
Dong Nai’s exporters shipped abroad 4,500 tonnes of black pepper in the first seven months of this year, earning US$34.2 million in export revenue.
The July export of pepper reached 900 tones, a year-on-year increase of double in volume and more than double in value.
Dong Nai pepper’s largest markets in the period were the US, Thailand, U.K, Sweden, etc.
