(ĐN)- Dong Nai Import Export Processing Agricultural Products and Food Company (Donafoods) has worked with German-invested Target Company, which is headquartered in Thailand, to cooperate in building fresh cashew material zones in Dong Nai.
According to Donafoods General director Nguyen Thai Hoc, Target Company has surveyed and evaluated Donafoods’ cashew nut processing factories, showing that the factories had met all the requirements of food hygiene and safety in cashew organic processing.
As planned, the two companies will made a survey at planning cashew planting areas in Xuan Loc and Dinh Quan districts in September this year. They will meet local farmers and give them on-spot advices on organic cashew planting model.
As known, the prices of organic cashew nuts are much higher than the common ones and are widely consumed in the global markets.
