(ĐN)- A delegation from the Culture and Social Affairs Committee of the Provincial People’s Council recently held a working session with the Vocational Junior College No. 8 on vocational training and job creation for young people in the province.

Over the past three years, the college paid special attention to fostering the links between vocational training and employment with focus on training for suitable careers and learning the skills that enterprises need. The college enrolls between 10,000 and 12,000 students annually. The school has provided vocational training for 2,013 ethnic students since 2003 until now. In addition, the school has signed agreements with 63 enterprises in the province and other provinces in the Southeastern region to help its students to find jobs after graduation. More than 80 per cent of graduates at the college have found stable jobs.
At the working session, the delegation praised efforts of the college in building close cooperation with enterprises in vocational training courses as well as in installing advanced teaching aids.
