(ĐN) - According to information from the provincial Department of Industry and Trade, Dong Nai’s import-export turnover is estimated at more than US$900 million in April alone, an increase of 3.6 percent compared to the previous month.
Accordingly, the province registered an export turnover of US$447 million this year, up 25.1 percent. Particularly, exports from local enterprises accounted for US$24.2 million, the central enterprises earned approximately US$8.5 million, and the foreign-invested enterprises reached over US$414 million. The enterprises’ main export products were coffee (16,391 tonnes), refined wooden products ($8.34 million), garment ($11 million), footwear (approximately $9 million) and hand-made pottery products ($2.24 million).
In April, Dong Nai’s import turnover hit around US$453 million, 3.2 percent higher than that of last month. Major import products were raw materials for production, chemicals and medicines.
