(ĐN)- In addition to Xuan Tien high-productivity club union established in Xuan Loc district last year, 14 new high-productivity club unions will be set up in all communes in the district between now and 2010 according to the plan set by the district government. The new club unions are expected to attract around 2,000 members. The new unions will own nearly 2,500 ha of agricultural land that will be cultivated with key agricultural plants including pepper, cashew, rice, wheat, vegetables …. and they also intend to develop breeding farms with over 2,500 heads of pigs and cows. Particularly, the district plans to set up 7 new high-productivity club unions this year.
Development of models of high-productivity club union is a major strategy of Xuan Loc district to build the new rural model for sustainable development.
