(ĐN)- In the first five months of this year, Xuan Loc district collected VND64.1 billion in tax, achieving 77 percent of the year’s target. Of which, the collection from land use tax increased 105%, from land use right transfer tax up 53%, registration fees of 17%, and business rates of 15%.
Presently, the district is making efforts to encourage local enterprises and individuals to declare and pay tax in full and on time. Besides, the tax evasion cases and fraud cases will be heavily punished. In 2008, Xuan Loc district strive to collect a total tax revenue of around VND116.5 billion, 40% higher than the year’s target.
