VIB Dong Nai cooperates with Dong Nai Customs Bureau to launch an associate card

(ĐN)- Dong Nai branch of Vietnam International Bank (VIB Dong Nai) has cooperated with Dong Nai Customs Bureau to launch a new associate card. Accordingly, the local enterprises are able to pay customs fees via the bank. VIB is the first bank to offer such a service in Dong Nai. In the near time, the bank’s service will be deployed across the country.

Established two years ago, VIB Dong Nai has affirmed its position and maintained a high growth rate during the past time. The branch’s loan turnover increased from VND251 billion in 2006 to VND515 billion in the first eight month. Until the end of August, VIB Dong Nai reached loan balance of VND434 billion, mobilised capital of nearly VND400 billion, exceeding last year’s annual figures by 63 per cent and 59 per cent, respectively.

After 11 years of operation, VIB has become one of Vietnam’s five leading joint stock commercial banks. It has currently 80 branches and transaction offices throughout the country with 2,100 employees. The bank is expected to gain VND25 trillion in total asset and VND400 billion in profit by the end of this year.
