(ĐN)- Although facing many difficulties because of high input material prices and transportation costs, Dong Tien Garment Company (Dovitec) has achieved encouraging results in the past eight months. Accordingly, the company reached more than VND150 billion in turnover for the first eight months, achieving over 80% of the year’s target, up 22% compared to the same period of previous year. It also earned an after-tax profit of nearly VND3.5 billion, double the figure of 2006. Especially, monthly average salary of each worker in the company reaches VND1.6 million, 11% higher than that of last year. During the past eight months, Dong Tien has donated more than VND1.5 billion for the province’s social and charitable activities. Particularly, the company funded VND1.2 billion to build Tan Phu district-based Phu Binh Kindergarten that has just put into operation in the school year of 2007-2008; it has actively responded to the movement Paying debts of gratitude.
In 2007, Dovitec has been awarded many noble titles, such as “Trademark and Brand” Golden Cup, Vietnamese Golden Star Award, “Kind-hearted and talented businessmen” Golden Cup, “ISO Golden Cup" and "2007 Excellent Manager”. In the rest months of 2007, the company’s leaders and employees will strive to reach and surpass the targets set for this year, contribute to the construction and development of the company.
