The Prime Minister issued Decision No 127/2007/QD-TTg on August 1 requiring State officials to work on Saturdays in such areas as public notary; certification; residence registration; identity card and passport issuance; visa issuance to foreigners; construction permit issuance; business registration; investment licensing and registration; and land use right certificate issuance.

| Administrative Management Police works on weekends |
The Prime Minister issued Decision No 127/2007/QD-TTg on August 1 requiring State officials to work on Saturdays in such areas as public notary; certification; residence registration; identity card and passport issuance; visa issuance to foreigners; construction permit issuance; business registration; investment licensing and registration; and land use right certificate issuance. In Dong Nai province, some essential offices like Dong Nai Customs Bureau, Traffic Police Office, Administrative Management Police, Dong Nai Motor Vehicle Register Center, Department of Natural Resoure and Environment, and the provincial State Treasury have implemented the Decision. Beginning from September 15, the employees in the Justice Department and Investment and Planning Department will also work on weekends. Besides, the Construction Department is planning to apply the Prime Minister’s Decision on working on Saturdays.
