On October 10, the Party Committee, the People's Council, the People's Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tam Phuoc Ward held a ceremony to mark National Digital Transformation Day 2026. The event aimed to implement directives from the Dong Nai City Party Committee and the City People's Committee, translating awareness into concrete action across the ward under the motto “Staying close to the people, engaging closely with the people, ensuring substantive and effective implementation.”

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairwoman of the Tam Phuoc Ward People's Committee Pham Thi Hoa emphasized that, under the theme "National digital transformation: From architecture, platforms and data to tangible results and enhanced national governance efficiency," digital transformation in 2026 requires a shift from slogans and figures reported merely for form’s sake to concrete results, with citizens’ convenience and businesses’ success serving as the sole measures of effectiveness.

In Tam Phuoc Ward, local authorities have identified the grassroots level as the frontline and the decisive factor in the success or failure of digital transformation. Technological platforms and digital data can deliver genuine value only when people embrace, master, and apply them in their daily lives.

To ensure that the emulation campaign delivers practical results, the ward leader called on agencies and units to focus on five key groups of tasks.

Specifically, specialized departments and the Ward Public Administrative Service Center were tasked with accelerating the digitization of documents and improving the quality of end-to-end online public services. Civil servants should be assigned to provide direct guidance to residents on submitting applications online and making cashless payments. The Public Security, the Military Command, and the Health Station of Tam Phuoc Ward were asked to fulfill their roles as frontline forces by guiding residents in activating and using Level-2 digital identity accounts on the VneID application, integrating essential documents, and updating electronic health records, while ensuring that data meets the requirements of being "accurate, complete, clean, and up to date."

The ward’s Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations were required to intensify communication and mobilization efforts to encourage their members, business households, and small traders to participate in the emulation campaign. They were also tasked with incorporating digital transformation and cashless payment methods into organizational meetings and developing "Market 4.0" models and "Digital Technology Business Household" chains. Public schools should promote the "Digital Literacy for All" movement by providing teachers and students with digital skills and knowledge of digital signatures, while encouraging students to help their parents install and use the city's essential digital citizen platforms.

In residential areas, quarter management boards and community digital technology teams were instructed to identify households that have yet to gain access to digital technology and provide residents with direct guidance on using online public services, VNeID, cashless payments, public digital signatures, and essential digital platforms. Support must reach every household, with particular emphasis on avoiding superficial implementation.

Under the plan, the campaign to provide digital skills guidance in residential areas across the ward will run throughout October 2026, with peak activities taking place from October 10 to 31. Ward authorities have stressed that campaign activities should be organized in a practical, economical, and effective manner, steering clear of ostentation and formalism.

At the ceremony, ward leaders pressed a button to officially launch the campaign, demonstrating the unity, commitment, and determination of Tam Phuoc Ward's political system in advancing digital transformation.
