“Innovation – A Development Driver for the Whole of Society”

The Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology held a conference on October 2 to celebrate the 2026 National Innovation Day (October 1), under the theme “Innovation – A Development Driver for the Whole of Society.”

The event was attended by Le Truong Son, Member of the Dong Nai City Party Committee’s Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee; Pham Van Trinh, Member of the City Party Committee and Director of the Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology; leaders of departments, sectors, institutes and universities, and relevant units; and representatives from many localities across the city.

At the conference, representatives of regulatory agencies, research institutes, universities, and major technology enterprises presented multidimensional perspectives through a series of presentations and shared practical experience with mechanisms for connecting resources, promoting technology transfer, and leveraging the central role of universities and research institutes in the area. They also introduced technological solutions to connect the government, businesses, and the public, as well as technological applications in logistics and platforms supporting digital transformation and innovation.

Speaking at the event, Vo Hoang Khai, Deputy Director of the Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology, emphasized, "This conference is not only an opportunity for us to affirm the role of science, technology, and innovation in socio-economic development, but it also opens up a new space for connection between regulatory agencies, research institutes, universities, businesses, investors, and the innovation community."
