As part of efforts to support poor and disadvantaged households in need of housing and help eliminate temporary and dilapidated housing in the area, the city’s Mobilisation Committee for the Fund for the Poor is providing Phu Trung commune with nearly VND1.4 billion to build 17 “Great solidarity” houses.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ha Anh Dung said the construction of “Great solidarity” houses is a practical and meaningful activity that reflects the care and support of Party committees, authorities and VFF committees at all levels, as well as the joint efforts of the entire political system and the community to assist households facing housing difficulties.
He asked the VFF Committee of Phu Trung commune to continue strengthening its supervisory role throughout the implementation process, ensuring that the support funds are used for the intended purposes and reach the intended beneficiaries. He also urged the committee to coordinate with relevant agencies and beneficiary families to speed up construction, ensure the quality of the houses and enable the households to move into stable homes as soon as possible.

On behalf of the Party Committee, authorities, VFF Committee and political system of Phu Trung commune, Secretary of the Phu Trung commune Party Committee Pham Kim Trong said the “Great solidarity” houses would not only provide beneficiary households with safe and solid homes, but also offer significant encouragement. The houses reflect the Vietnamese tradition of mutual support and helping those in need, he said, adding that they would give families greater peace of mind as they work to earn a living, stabilise their lives and gradually improve their circumstances.
Representing the beneficiary households, Dieu Giap expressed his gratitude to city leaders and the city’s Mobilisation Committee for the Fund for the Poor, as well as the Party Committee, authorities and VFF Committee of Phu Trung commune and relevant agencies, for their care and support. He said the assistance would be a major source of encouragement for his family to achieve a more stable life and contribute to the development of Phu Trung commune.
