Drawing on their passion for art, knowledge of Vietnam and Japan and creativity, the children created lively artworks highlighting distinctive cultural features of the two countries. They also proposed solutions for creating a greener living environment, such as using renewable energy, developing green transport, reducing waste, creating green spaces and promoting environmentally friendly lifestyles. Through their artworks, they helped spread the message of green living in the community.

The contest not only provided the children with a meaningful opportunity to pursue their passion for art but also helped raise their awareness of the friendship and strong bonds between the people of Vietnam and Japan. It also gave children in the city, including those from Japanese families living in Dong Nai, an opportunity to learn more about the two countries, their people and cultural traditions. The event thereby contributed to fostering and strengthening the traditional friendship and solidarity between Vietnam and Japan in general and between Dong Nai and Japan in particular.
The award ceremony for the painting contest is scheduled to take place in November 2026.
