Site handover for three expressway projects exceeds 90%

According to the Dong Nai Land Fund Development Center, site handover has exceeded 90% for three projects: the Dau Giay–Tan Phu Expressway, the Ho Chi Minh City–Thu Dau Mot–Chon Thanh Expressway, and the expansion of the Ho Chi Minh City–Long Thanh section of the Ho Chi Minh City–Long Thanh–Dau Giay Expressway.

Specifically, more than 95% of the site area for the first phase of the Dau Giay–Tan Phu Expressway has been handed over. The corresponding rate for the Ho Chi Minh City–Thu Dau Mot–Chon Thanh Expressway is approximately 98%, while 97% of the site area for the project to expand the Ho Chi Minh City–Long Thanh section of the Ho Chi Minh City–Long Thanh–Dau Giay Expressway has been handed over.

The Dau Giay–Tan Phu Expressway spans approximately 60 km and is being developed under the public-private partnership (PPP) model. Designed for a speed of 100 km/h, the expressway will have four lanes. To facilitate construction of the project, Dong Nai City must carry out land acquisition and site clearance covering more than 390 hectares across eight wards and communes.

The Ho Chi Minh City–Thu Dau Mot–Chon Thanh Expressway has a total length of approximately 52 km, including a roughly 6.6-km section passing through Dong Nai City, with a total investment of more than VND 1.4 trillion. To implement the project, Dong Nai City must acquire more than 84 hectares of land, excluding the 2.1-km section overlapping with the D9 route within the planning scope of the Becamex–Binh Phuoc Industrial Park, for which Becamex Binh Phuoc Infrastructure Development Joint Stock Company is responsible for investment.

Meanwhile, the project to expand the Ho Chi Minh City–Long Thanh section of the Ho Chi Minh City–Long Thanh–Dau Giay Expressway stretches nearly 22 km, including a 13-km section passing through Dong Nai City. To facilitate construction of the project, Dong Nai City must acquire more than four hectares of land in Nhon Trach and Long Thanh wards and An Phuoc Commune.
