Dong Nai City holds “Radiant Fatherland of Vietnam” art program, fireworks display to celebrate National Day

A special political art program and fireworks display themed “Radiant Fatherland of Vietnam” was held on September 2 in Tran Bien Ward and Dai Phuoc Commune, joining the jubilant atmosphere marking the 81st anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945-2026) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945-2026).

The political art program and fireworks display were directed by the Dong Nai City People's Committee and implemented by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; the City Military Command; Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio, Television, in coordination with the People's Committees of Tran Bien Ward and Dai Phuoc Commune.

Attending the program were Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee (CPC), and Head of the Dong Nai City National Assembly Delegation Vu Hong Van; Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the CPC, and Chairwoman of the City People's Council Ton Ngoc Hanh; Deputy Secretary of the CPC Vo Tan Duc; Deputy Secretary of the CPC and Chairwoman of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Huynh Thi Hang; and Member of the CPC’s Standing Board and Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Kim Long. Also present were members of the CPC’s Standing Board, members of the CPC’s Executive Board, and leaders of departments, agencies, wards, and communes.

Although the “Radiant Fatherland of Vietnam” political art program was scheduled to begin at 7:45 p.m., large numbers of people had flocked to the two venues in Tran Bien Ward and Dai Phuoc Commune from early evening to enjoy the art performances and fireworks and immerse themselves in the joyful and proud atmosphere of National Day.

During the program, the audience enjoyed a grand, heroic and deeply moving artistic performance presented by artists and actors from the Dong Nai Art Theater and Ho Chi Minh City. Outstanding performances, including Loi Dang hieu trieu trai tim (The Party's Call to the Heart), Ho Chi Minh trai tim son sat (Ho Chi Minh – A Loyal Heart), Hoa binh dep lam (Peace is Beautiful), Tu hao ta co Dang (Proud to Have the Party), Thoi hoa do (The Time of the Red Flowers), and Tu nguyen (Volunteering), evoked strong emotions among the audience. The program also featured musical works dedicated to the homeland of Dong Nai, a land with a rich heroic revolutionary history, notable economic and social achievements, and strong aspirations for development as it joins the rest of the country in advancing into a new era.

Continuing the atmosphere of pride, a brilliant 15-minute high-altitude fireworks display lit up the skies over Tran Bien Ward and Dai Phuoc Commune. The display brought a spectacular night of art to a close while also igniting faith, positive energy, and aspirations for a radiant future for Dong Nai City and the entire nation as they firmly enter a new era.

Among the crowds heading to the venues to fully enjoy the Independence Festival, citizens of Dong Nai City carried a sense of pride. Veteran Tran Van Hung, from Tran Bien Ward, said, “Witnessing the changes in our homeland, soldiers like us from the old days are very encouraged. Tonight's art program has reinforced in each of us a strong belief in the development of Dong Nai City in particular and the Vietnamese nation in general. I trust and expect that the CPC and the government will continue to promote economic development and improve the lives of the people.”

Meanwhile, Nguyen Hoang Nam, a resident of Tan Trieu Ward, said, “The art program and fireworks display were organized on a grand scale, inspiring in me a sense of pride and responsibility as a young person. We, the youth, will continue to strive to improve our professional skills and work even harder to make practical contributions to the overall development of Dong Nai City in the new phase.”

Le Thi Mai, a resident of Long Binh Ward, said, “My whole family arrived early to watch the entire program, and we felt very proud. In particular, the brilliant high-altitude fireworks created a joyful and exciting atmosphere. I hope our city will continue to rise, develop rapidly, and become even more modern so that the people can enjoy increasingly greater achievements.”
