Tasked with carrying out activities related to tourism services, the city’s Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center has focused on preparations and is ready to hold a digital photo exhibition, introduce the smart tourism application, set up a digital transformation booth, and coordinate efforts to connect delegations on research and survey visits.
Promoting Dong Nai tourism in the digital environment
According to the plan, DIGIFEST Dong Nai 2026 will feature more than 200 exhibition booths showcasing achievements in science, technology, innovation and digital transformation, as well as the city’s outstanding OCOP products under the One Commune, One Product program. The event will also present shared digital platforms, demonstrations of digital services, solutions involving artificial intelligence and big data, common platforms for Smart Life, and a digital technology experience area known as Tech Playground.
The city’s Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center said its exhibition booths would feature digital photo exhibitions, demonstrations of the smart tourism application, and displays dedicated to digital transformation.
Specifically, a digital photo exhibition featuring images drawn from the 2026 Dong Nai Beautiful Photo Contest will showcase the city’s natural landscapes, culture, people and notable tourist destinations in a digital environment. This initiative aims to modernize exhibition formats, increase interactivity and improve the effectiveness of promoting Dong Nai’s image and tourism potential through digital platforms and technological solutions at the event.
At DIGIFEST Dong Nai 2026, the center will introduce the Dong Nai Smart Tourism application (Phase 1, 2026) alongside efforts to promote Dong Nai’s natural landscapes and people through digital channels. To launch the application, the center has prepared content and data focusing on two representative destinations: the Ta Thiet Special National Relic Site, also known as the Ta Thiet Base, in Loc Thanh Commune; and the Soc Bom Bo National Historical Relic Site in Bom Bo Commune.
With the application's long-term development in mind, the center will continue to use it to highlight tourist destinations, cultural and historical values, and tourism products and services available to visitors. The application aims to modernize the delivery of tourism information, help users learn about destinations, plan itineraries and enhance their travel experiences. Collecting user reviews and feedback will also provide a basis for reviewing and refining the content and guiding the application's development in subsequent phases.
Connecting tourism businesses with consumers
In addition to promoting Dong Nai tourism in the digital space, DIGIFEST Dong Nai 2026 will feature three booths dedicated to digital transformation in the tourism sector. The booths will showcase innovative solutions and digital technology applications for promoting tourist destinations, along with solutions to support the promotion of products and services, facilitate product sales through digital channels, and connect businesses with consumers. These efforts are expected to enhance the effectiveness of trade and tourism promotion in tandem with digital transformation.
Alongside its core responsibilities, the city’s Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center will serve as the venue for DIGIFEST Dong Nai 2026. Preparations include coordinating connections and supporting the organization of research and survey delegations, identifying major challenges that need to be addressed to advance science, technology, innovation and digital transformation, and promoting the role of the Advisory Council as part of DIGIFEST Dong Nai 2026.
Tran Thi Thu Trang, Deputy Director in charge of the city’s Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center, said the center had proposed working with the event’s organizing committee to hold the awards ceremony for the 2026 Dong Nai Beautiful Photo Contest during DIGIFEST Dong Nai 2026. The center will prepare the content for the awards ceremony and handle related tasks. The ceremony aims to recognize and honor outstanding photographers and their works while helping promote the city’s natural beauty, culture, people and notable tourist destinations.
