Dong Nai welcomes over 4.4 million tourists

Dong Nai City welcomed more than 4.4 million tourist arrivals over nearly nine months in 2026, reaching nearly 77% of its full-year target, according to statistics from the Dong Nai City Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Of the total, domestic arrivals totaled more than 4.3 million, including around 815,000 arrivals recorded by accommodation establishments and 317,000 handled by travel businesses. More than 3.3 million arrivals were recorded through other tourism activities. International arrivals totaled more than 118,000.

Tourism revenue in the first nine months was estimated at over VND3.4 trillion, equivalent to nearly 76% of the annual target. On average, each tourist visiting Dong Nai spent around VND764,000 during the period. In September alone, average spending was estimated at around VND824,000 per tourist.

For 2026, Dong Nai aims to welcome 5.8 million tourist arrivals, including more than 5.6 million domestic tourists and over 160,000 international visitors. Tourism service revenue is targeted at VND4.5 trillion.
