Participating in internationally oriented domestic events, promoting Dong Nai’s image in airline magazines, and coordinating with and supporting international journalists visiting Dong Nai to produce stories for foreign newspapers and magazines are among the activities being carried out by the Dong Nai City Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center (ITTPC) to step up the promotion of Dong Nai tourism in international markets.

To improve the effectiveness of tourism communications, the city's ITTPC has proactively developed high-quality communication products with appropriate content for use at tourism promotion programs, events and the city’s external relations activities. These efforts are helping attract tourists and investors while expanding cooperation at both the domestic and international levels.

Building the Dong Nai tourism brand through events

In recent times, the city's ITTPC has actively promoted Dong Nai's image as a tourism destination to domestic and international markets through major trade and tourism events and large-scale tourism promotion programs. These events have attracted large numbers of domestic and international businesses.

A notable example was the Ho Chi Minh City International Travel Expo (ITE HCMC 2025), one of Vietnam’s major international tourism events. At the expo, Dong Nai showcased its distinctive tourism offerings and used digital technology to enable visitors to experience its destinations.

The event brought together more than 500 businesses and 250 international buyers from 41 countries and territories, creating opportunities for Dong Nai tourism to directly connect with international partners, travel companies and overseas visitor markets. The Dong Nai tourism promotion booth attracted considerable interest from domestic and international tourism and travel businesses.

At the Vietnam International Travel Mart (VITM Hanoi 2026), Dong Nai City continued to promote its local tourism offerings under the theme “Dong Nai — Green Nature, Complete Experiences.” The city introduced ecological, cultural, historical and community-based tourism products, distinctive tours and travel routes, as well as OCOP (One Commune One Product) products and local specialties.

In addition, the city's ITTPC has participated in several major tourism events, including National Tourism Year - Gia Lai 2026 and the East-West Economic Corridor International Trade, Tourism and Investment Fair 2026 (EWEC-Da Nang 2026).

Diversifying communications, promotional activities

Active participation in trade and tourism events nationwide has helped Dong Nai tourism gradually establish its presence among visitors. Tourism promotion activities have also contributed to expanding Dong Nai’s image on Vietnam’s tourism map and reaching international markets.

According to Tran Thi Thu Trang, Deputy Director in charge of the city's ITTPC, the center is stepping up implementation of Resolution No. 05-NQ/TU, dated May 1, 2026, of the City Party Committee's Executive Board on the special 500-day-and-night emulation campaign, “Unity — Discipline — Efficiency — Breakthrough, Building a Civilized and Modern Dong Nai,” while continuing to maintain and improve the quality of implementation through 2030.

As a unit responsible for tourism promotion, connecting with and seeking investors, and supporting businesses in bringing their products to domestic and international markets, the center is strengthening communications and promotion of Dong Nai City’s image. It also introduces the city’s potential and advantages, development orientations, and opportunities for investment, trade, and tourism cooperation.

Tran Thi Thu Trang added that the city's ITTPC would continue to step up the promotion of Dong Nai’s cultural and historical values, natural resources, destinations and distinctive tourism products. At the same time, it would introduce the city’s infrastructure system, investment environment, trade and service activities, and socio-economic development achievements. Through these efforts, the center aims to bring Dong Nai’s image, people and distinctive products closer to the public both at home and abroad.
