Long Thanh ward’s leaders present gifts to neighborhood party cells in recognition of their achievements during a working session held on Sunday, June 7, 2026.

Specifically, on June 7 (Sunday), Long Thanh ward’s Party Committee held a working session with representatives of six neighborhood party cells to hear reports on the implementation of assigned tasks, discuss difficulties and obstacles, and consider proposals, recommendations and solutions for the coming period. The meeting marked the first round of working sessions under the ward Party Committee’s plan to engage with all 27 neighborhood party cells under its management.

Also on June 7, the appraisal council of the Long Thanh ward People’s Committee convened to review investment policy proposals for a number of public investment projects in the ward. These included proposals for upgrading facilities and equipment at the Long Thanh ward Military Command headquarters; renovating and equipping Long Thanh ward Stadium; developing the Binh Son domestic solid waste transfer station; upgrading fire prevention and firefighting systems at local schools; renovating Long Thanh Secondary School; and modernizing the ward’s smart broadcasting system. These projects are expected to contribute to accelerating the disbursement of public investment capital in the locality.

In addition, during weekends, functional forces in many neighborhoods across Long Thanh Ward have continued working to assist residents with digital transformation activities and the use of digital services.

According to Le Hoang Son, in response to the vibrant atmosphere of the citywide 500-day-and-night emulation campaign, Long Thanh ward is striving to accelerate the fulfillment of its socio-economic development and urban beautification targets. To achieve these goals, the ward has called on its officials, civil servants and public employees to uphold the spirit of “completing the job, not merely working until the clock runs out.”

Long Thanh ward is home to a number of major national and city-level projects currently under implementation. As a result, local authorities are working closely with relevant agencies to speed up project execution, particularly land clearance and site handover activities. Working on weekends not only helps accelerate the implementation of key infrastructure projects but also demonstrates the strong sense of responsibility among local officials in responding to public expectations for a modern and civilized Long Thanh urban area.
