At present, many enterprises in Dong Nai have moved beyond slogans in valuing human resources, demonstrating this commitment through practical measures to improve both the material and spiritual well-being of employees.

From ensuring stable incomes and improving working conditions to implementing welfare policies such as housing support, healthcare and cultural or sports activities, these efforts all aim to build a cohesive and sustainable workforce that contributes to long-term business growth.
Sharing the burden with workers
Recently, Lixil Global Manufacturing Vietnam Co., Ltd. introduced a cost-of-living support policy for all employees, offering VND500,000 per person. The company currently employs more than 1,300 workers. This timely program has been widely welcomed, helping stabilize workers’ lives while boosting morale and productivity.
According to Maeda Atsushi, General Director of Lixil Global Manufacturing Vietnam Co., Ltd., the program is designed to ease financial pressure and support employees through challenging times. “The company always stands alongside its workers, striving to create a workplace that feels like a family. We hope employees can overcome difficulties and continue growing together with the company in a sustainable manner,” he emphasized.
Furthermore, in April 2026, the company continued its review to implement periodic salary increase for its workforce. In parallel, it will maintain cost-of-living support and housing allowances for all of its employees. These policies not only help retain workers but also foster a humane and stable working environment amid fluctuations in the labor market.
Meanwhile, Eclat Textile Co., Ltd. (Vietnam), located in Nhon Trach commune, has launched a rice distribution program for all employees as part of its ongoing welfare initiatives. The program aims to improve living standards while contributing to a more sustainable workplace.
Under this initiative, each distribution provides 50 tonnes of ST25 rice to 5,000 employees. Delivered directly to the employees, these gifts embody the company’s care, empathy and understanding. As living costs continue to rise, such support has become increasingly meaningful, helping ease the burden on workers’ families.
Many employees expressed their appreciation upon receiving the rice. Ha Thi Thu, a worker at the company, shared that she felt deeply moved, noting that the support not only provided material assistance but also served as a strong source of encouragement during difficult times.
Maintaining worker-centered activities
In addition, many enterprises have worked closely with grassroots trade unions to maintain regular activities such as organizing birthday celebrations, visiting employees during illness, or providing timely assistance when the workers face personal hardships. Notably, during periods of declining orders, several companies have chosen to weather the challenges alongside their employees by adjusting working hours while retaining core staff and maintaining transparency to build consensus. Such mutual understanding and trust have helped ensure stable production.
Looking back at 2025, Typhoon No. 10 caused severe damage across northern and north-central provinces, leaving many workers’ families in hardship. In response, businesses in Dong Nai promptly extended support to affected employees. Tran Thi Lau, a worker at Dong Tien Joint Stock Company (Thong Nhat Commune), was among 47 employees receiving assistance. She shared that the timely support was deeply touching, adding that it not only helped financially but also strengthened her confidence to overcome difficulties.
Enterprises are increasingly recognizing the value of their workforce by honoring long-term contributions. For instance, Grand Gain Footwear Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (Dong Xoai II Industrial Park) recently held an appreciation ceremony for workers with 10 years of service. During the event, company leaders and the trade union representatives expressed their gratitude for employees’ dedication and tireless efforts in production. Such annual activities help spread the message of valuing employees in the course of corporate development.
Alongside welfare policies, many businesses have created favorable conditions for employees to enhance their skills, increase income and improve their living standards. In practice, when workers are treated well, they tend to demonstrate greater responsibility, remain loyal for longer periods and stand by their employers through both opportunities and challenges.
Ultimately, in an increasingly competitive production and business environment marked by labor shortages, many enterprises have come to realize that their core value lies not only in profit but also in their own workforce. When employees are treated as family members, the relationship between businesses and workers evolves into one of cohesion, sharing, and mutual growth.
