After nearly 10 years with Global Power Mechanics Co., Ltd. (Trang Bom commune, Dong Nai province), Tran Thi Dieu Thu is regarded by colleagues and workshop managers as a shining example in the mechanical industry for her dedication, passion for her work, and creativity. As an employee in the assembly department, Thu consistently completes her assigned tasks, ensuring products meet technical requirements and stay on schedule. She carries out each stage of assembly with great care, strictly following technical procedures. She places special emphasis on labor safety, viewing it as the foremost principle in mechanical production.

According to Thu, as a woman in the mechanical industry, a male-dominated industry with many pressures and high technical demands, she believes that female workers, if they love their profession, can still fully assert their position. Especially, female workers have the advantage of being careful, persistent, and eager to learn. If given the opportunity and if they try their best, women can perform technical jobs well. "The mechanical industry requires meticulousness, accuracy, and high discipline. When you are truly dedicated, any difficulty can be overcome," Thu confided.

Not only does she complete her tasks, but Thu also actively participates in technical improvements, contributing to enhancing product quality. Typical projects include: Improving the leak test jig for chain case products by replacing the pressing pins on the jig with soft rubber, which helps increase stability and reduce errors during testing; and improving the Swingarm component assembly jig by adding a dimension positioning mechanism, contributing to standardizing assembly operations, reducing errors, and increasing productivity. Each initiative stemming from daily work has achieved practical results, reducing technical errors and improving product quality in the assembly team.

With years of silent dedication to the mechanical profession, Tran Thi Dieu Thu is not only a skilled assembly worker but also a shining example of responsibility, dedication, and a strong aspiration to excel. Her contributions are vivid proof of the image of modern, brave women who constantly conquer challenges in production labor. With her contributions over the past decade to the enterprise, Thu does not see it as a stopping point but as a foundation to continue striving. "I will continue to improve my skills, develop my experience, and strive for more quality improvement initiatives to meet the requirements of modern production innovation and develop together with the enterprise," Thu shared.

Female workers account for over 60% of Dong Nai’s 1.2 million-strong workforce, playing a pivotal role in sectors such as mechanical engineering, garment, footwear, and electronics. Many female workers actively participate in emulation movements such as "Good at national affairs, good at housework" and "Excellent and Creative Labor", and are praised and recognized by Trade unions at all levels for their contributions. Each story of dedication and responsibility from female workers strongly inspires the community and the young workforce today.

Silent with the profession

Amidst the bustling pace of production at Yuen Foong Yu Dong Nai Paper Co., Ltd. (Long Thanh commune, Dong Nai province), Le Thi Kim Chi diligently stacks newly finished products onto pallets. Despite the beads of sweat on her face, she always wears a smile as she goes about the job she has remained committed to for the past 21 years, a job that has brought her stability. That span of time is enough to affirm the enduring love for her profession of a female worker who always puts product quality first, viewing each shift as a chance to hone her skills and affirm her mettle.

According to Kim Chi, after more than two decades in the profession, she has witnessed many changes in the packaging manufacturing industry, including technological advancements and higher quality standards. Even as machinery has become increasingly advanced, she has never stopped learning to adapt, master new equipment, and improve work efficiency. It is this progressive spirit that has helped her consistently maintain her performance and become a standout figure in the production team.

Not only is she highly skilled, but Chi's image as a diligent and responsible worker has also spread a positive spirit throughout the workforce. This quality is evident in her dedicated mentoring and sharing of experience with younger generations of workers. Many new colleagues have been carefully guided by her in professional skills and professional working style in production. That dedication passes on a "fire" of love for the profession, helping build a professional workforce that quietly devotes itself to the enterprise's development.

At Hoang Gia G.M.T. Co., Ltd. (Binh Minh Commune, Dong Nai Province), female workers devote their youth to the workshop, diligently working at every stitch. Nguyen Thi Anh, from Ninh Binh Province, is a prime example of such perseverance and dedication. From her position as a worker, she strove to become a Production Team Leader through determination and a strong sense of responsibility. According to Anh, the fashion garment industry constantly changes its designs, along with the specific standards and technical specifications, requiring workers to continuously innovate and upgrade their skills to adapt to the new normal.

In her role as Team Leader, besides strong professional expertise, a team leader like Anh must also know how to organize work scientifically to ensure progress and product quality. Therefore, Anh always works alongside her workers and never hesitates to sit directly at the sewing machine when orders increase. She confided, "Flexibility and willingness to share difficulties with workers are the bonds that help the production team always operate smoothly, meeting product quality and order requirements."

Anh always proactively listens to workers' concerns so she can promptly propose improvements to the working environment to leadership. Her contributions not only advance the enterprise's overall development but also inspire young workers to remain more committed to and proud of the sewing profession. Speaking about her plans, she humorously said, "I'll stick with the job until I get fired." This simple remark clearly expresses her dedication to her work. She embodies the image of a modern woman, decisive in management, dedicated, and willing to share with colleagues.
