On March 3 and 4, the Department of Construction conducted an inspection and review of vehicles preparing to participate in the non-subsidized public passenger transport bus route (Route No. 9) from Bien Hoa Bus Station (Tran Bien Ward, Dong Nai Province) to Nui Cui area (Thong Nhat Commune, Dong Nai Province) and vice versa. This is the first electric bus route in Dong Nai scheduled to be put into operation in March 2026.

This bus route has a distance of 58km with the specific itinerary: Bien Hoa Bus Station - Cach Mang Thang Tam Street - Ha Huy Giap Street - Vo Thi Sau Street - Duong Tu Giang Street - Nguyen Ai Quoc Street - Dong Khoi Street - Amata Industrial Park intersection - National Highway 1 - Trang Bom Post Office – April 30 Street - Hung Vuong Street - Nguyen Hoang Street - Trang Bom Street - Cay Gao - Bau Ham Commune Medical Station - Duc Huy Street - Thanh Binh - National Highway 20 - Gia Tan 1 Street - Nui Cui and vice versa.

The bus fare for this route is 8,000 VND/trip for passengers traveling less than 7km; 20,000 VND/trip for distances from 7km to less than 20km; 30,000 VND/trip for distances between 20km and less than 40km; 40,000 VND/trip for distances 40km or more. Fares are waived for revolutionary contributors, people with disabilities, seniors aged 70 and above and children under 6. A 50% discount on fares is applied to Vietnamese students when purchasing monthly or multi-trip passes. A 25% discount on fares is applied to regular commuters using monthly or bulk ticket passes.
Also in March 2026, the Department of Construction will continue to promote the conversion to green energy, reducing carbon and methane emissions from the transportation sector in Dong Nai province.
