The Provincial People’s Committee has recently issued Plan No. 105/KH-UBND (dated March 3, 2026) on the training and development of human resources to meet the construction and operational demands of key projects in Dong Nai for the 2026-2030 period.

The plan aims to concretize tasks assigned by the Provincial Party Committee to develop high-quality human resources, promptly meet the recruitment and operation needs of key projects, especially Long Thanh International Airport and its accompanying economic ecosystem (connecting infrastructure, services, logistics, tourism,...). It also aims to enhance the responsibility of departments, agencies, localities, vocational education institutions, and businesses in training associated with the actual needs of the labor market.
In addition, it defines specific tasks for each department, agency, commune-level People's Committee, and affiliated units in accordance with the principle of "clear personnel, clear tasks, clear timelines, clear responsibility, clear authority, clear results", thereby creating opportunities for vocational training and sustainable employment for workers, contributing to social security stability and promoting sustainable economic development.
Under the plan, the Department of Home Affairs is assigned to be the lead agency to organize surveys, collect, update, manage, and analyze data to forecast labor recruitment needs (in terms of quantity, sectors, and proficiency levels) of key projects in the province. At the same time, a high-quality human resource development program and policies to attract and retain talent will be built to meet the needs of experts and highly skilled workers for the projects.
The Department of Education and Training is tasked as the lead agency, organizing human resource training and facilitating close collaboration between vocational institutions and enterprises. Accordingly, it will organize human resource training; guide vocational education institutions to organize training courses in various forms; promote the signing of cooperation agreements and training orders; organize internships for students at businesses; link businesses with schools to develop curricula and vocational training; and promote student streaming in general education in accordance with their abilities and aspirations.
The Provincial People's Committee tasked Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio, Television (DNNRTV) with intensifying information dissemination, communication, and the application of information technology. Specifically, DNNRTV will enhance communication about vocational education, vocational training programs, career counseling programs, job transaction fairs. It will also disseminate information on the tasks and solutions of vocational education and employment programs, plans, and schemes to students, parents to promptly connect and support workers to participate in vocational training and work at businesses in the province.
