(ĐN)- On September 20, Xuan Loc district’s officials and soldiers began their community work at Xuan Hung commune.
Particularly, they mobilized over VND400 million to build and repair 14 gratitude and charity houses for local poor households, presented breeding animals and ten saving books totaling some VND120 million, awarded 35 scholarships and 30 bicycles for studious poor students, gave 30 gifts to policy families, etc. Besides, soldiers have cooperated with locals to upgrade rural traffic roads and dredge canals.
Since the beginning of the year, Xuan Loc district raised more than VND8 billion to implement social security work in the locality.
