(ĐN)- The sixth “Giving strength to students” scholarship awarding ceremony was held on September 20 at Dong Nai provincial Party Committee’s hall.
At the ceremony, 120 primary pupils, 133 secondary students, 48 high school students and a university student received scholarships worth VND3 million each.

Addressing at the event, Mr Huynh Van Tinh stressed that the scholarships are a great source of encouragement for disadvantaged students to overcome difficulties and excel at study.

Over the past four years, the “Giving strength to students” scholarship fund raised more than VND5.5 billion from 1,296 organizations and individuals. Accordingly, the fund handed 1,582 scholarships to poor students across the province.
